The Business Operations Analyst I provides cross-functional support to Skyward Health’s Business Operations department, with a focus on data processes, system coordination, and vendor oversight. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong technical foundations seeking experience in healthcare operations, compliance and reporting systems. The position is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and attention to detail. While initial responsibilities are structured and routine, the Business Operations Analyst I will have opportunities to grow into project ownership and more advanced work over time. Core Job Competencies: Operational Coordination : Support data-driven processes and administrative operations across multiple departments, ensuring that recurring workflows (e.g., billing, onboarding, reporting) are executed with consistency and accuracy. Produce ad-hoc reports as necessary. System Oversight & Execution : Perform day-to-day oversight of systems used by the Business Operations team, including EHR-linked platforms, internal data tools, and documentation trackers. Execute scheduled tasks across systems. Flag anomalies and assist in coordinating solutions with internal teams and vendors. Operational Data Stewardship : Serve as the first point of contact for internal questions about data logic, billing procedures, performance measures, and reporting systems. Ensure accuracy of outputs and provide guidance to staff on proper use and interpretation. Documentation & Resource Management : Maintain up-to-date reference materials, templates, and publications for internal and external use. Ensure stakeholders have access to accurate and understandable information. Interdepartmental Liaison : Serve as a communication bridge between Skyward Health departments and stakeholders such as Finance, CMAs (Care Management Agencies), and platform vendors. Relay questions, clarify data or system issues, and follow up on open items. Vendor Oversight & Follow-Up: Support oversight of vendor performance (including billing, finance, and IT vendors) by using reports and ad-hoc tracking tools to identify and surface issues related to fee logic and application, AR collection, and cybersecurity. Coordinate with vendors as needed, and document resolution steps and outcomes. Regulatory & Compliance Coordination : Support the completion and tracking of documents related to the Data Use Agreement (DUA) and other compliance efforts, under the guidance of the Director of Business Operations or IT.
