• Job Summary:

Ensures timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading of trucks and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle in a neat and tidy condition daily.
• Carry out regular vehicle/equipment checks as directed daily.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Pack and load products onto trucks.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Understand and abide by safety guidelines.
• Thorough Knowledge of traffic laws and defense driving.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 to 2 years of driving experience.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Employees are required to perform the following physical demands.
• Sit, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
• Employees will be required to pick up, gather, and or distribute materials of various weights up to 50Ibs.
