Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. "The ideal candidate should have experience with at least 5+ experience working as an AI engineer

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI Engineer Job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models to solve complex business and engineering problems.
• Preprocess, analyze, and interpret large datasets to extract actionable insights and improve model accuracy.
• Integrate AI solutions into applications, systems, or cloud platforms ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with organizational goals and maintain ethical AI practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined experience working as an AI engineer
• Strong proficiency in algorithm design, development, and optimization for AI, machine learning, and data processing applications.
• Solid foundation in Python, C++ , and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch for model implementation.
• Experience with data structures, computational complexity , and translating mathematical concepts into efficient code.
• Ability to apply algorithms to solve real-world problems in domains such as computer vision, NLP, or predictive analytics.
