The company seeks a Senior Telecom Engineer contractor to assist existing team with projects, design, and operational support. The role requires a higher-level engineer to help with the workload and maintain critical phone system operations. Required Skills & Experience: Strong VoIP and SIP understanding, including SIP packets and headers, is a must-have. Experience with session border controllers, especially AudioCodes, is highly desirable. General networking knowledge, including routing, switching, firewalls, and security, is essential. Knowledge of API integrations (SCIM, HL7) and scripting languages (Python) is beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft environments, including Azure, SSO, and Teams, is needed for integration. Responsibilities: The candidate will participate in design discussions, develop proof-of-concept designs, and implement solutions. The individual will be responsible for all implementations, not handing them off to a vendor. The candidate will assist with API integrations, working with vendors like CTi and supporting them day-to-day. Healthcare Experience: Healthcare experience is highly desirable due to specific integrations like Nurse Call systems and Spectralink Zebra systems.
