Tulips bloom speech therapy is a private practice dedicated to providing high-quality speech and language services to children and families in the Yuba City area. We specialize in early intervention, supporting children from birth to age 3, as well as preschool-aged children, to build strong communication foundations.
## Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services, support family-centered intervention, and assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
## Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to children in early intervention and preschool settings under SLP supervision
- Implement therapy activities and strategies outlined in treatment plans
- Collect data and document client progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support carryover of skills at home
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions
## Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or related field
- Current California SLPA license/certification (required)
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention and pediatric populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while following supervisory guidance
